Stone Bridge High School in the Ashburn Farm area of Ashburn, Virginia has ranked very high in quality of education since it opened in 2000. The school is located at 43100 Hay Road and is part of the Loudoun County Public School System.
Stone Bridge High School recently ranked 10th among the best high schools in Virginia. It is also worth noting that this Stone Bridge HS was the first Loudoun County High School to rank in the Top 10, since the list was created in 2007.
National ranking places the school at #178, and has received a gold medal based on the College Readiness Index. This index measures the student’s level of exposure to and understanding of college-level material.
With a population of 1900 students, Stone Bridge High still takes pride of the 79% participation rate in Advanced Placement (AP) exams. They have also recorded a 99% proficiency in Reading and 96% proficiency in Geometry.
The school owes these achievements to its prosperous and education-oriented community. This does not mean the school only focuses on academics … sports may be an even bigger draw!
The school’s mascot, a Bulldog, is the perfect visual display of the student body’s bullishness in achieving their goals. Recently, the Stone Bridge Football team played in their 3rd AAA Division 5 State Championship game in 4 years.
